Free to attend workshops for unpaid and family carers
These workshops are all organised and run by Fife Carers Centre in venues around Fife.

They are all free for unpaid/family carers to attend but you must book a place and places are usually limited.
To book a place on any of the sessions please contact Fife Carers Centre on 01592 205472 or complete the booking request below.  We'll confirm whether you have a place and then send you all the necessary details of the workshop (including directions) a week or so before the date. 
When you book a place we will use the information that you give us to contact you with the joining details.
If  you’d like to come to one of the workshops but need help with transport or respite please do give us a call on 01592 205472 and we’ll see what we can do to help.

DEMENTIA CARE WORKSHOPS

These information sessions are for family and unpaid carers of someone living with Dementia and are intended to help them live alongside the person they care for with more understanding and confidence.

COMMUNICATING WITH DEMENTIA - WORDS AND BEYOND

When finding words becomes difficult and frustration leads to stressed behaviours for someone living with dementia it is important to explore ways you can understand each other and communicate your feelings simply.
We'll be looking at what communication is and what are the basics and essentials to making it have meaning.

These workshops will help all carers to be better prepared for life as a carer.  They'll help you to be as ready as possible now and to plan for the future.  We have tailored the workshops for two distinct groups.  Please register interest by clicking below on the appropriate group.
