On Thursday 16th March Alzheimer Scotland are looking to hear from people living in Glenrothes who have or care for someone living with dementia. Alzheimer Scotland, supported by Fife Centre for Equalities are holding a Coffee and Chat Event, Lomond Centre, Woodside Way, Glenrothes, KY7 5RA. To book a place or find out more contact Amanda on 01592 803800 or email ahunter@alzscot.org.
Caring for someone inevitably changes your relationship with them and can expose it to stresses and strains that make it difficult. Carers Trust in partnership with relationship experts OnePlusOne have written a new guide for carers to help you cope with the changes in the relationship. The emphasis is on preventing problems rather than only getting help when there is a crisis. You can find the guide on the Carers Trust website http://relationships.carers.org/
Carol Hughes our reception and admin worker has chosen to retire properly now and spend time being a granny - I expect that'll keep her busy! We wish her well and hope she's not too puggled to enjoy some time to herself too!
