Details of services available

We are able to offer support to carers by telephone, email, video conferencing and in person - we aim to use the most appropriate method at the time and use covid safe practices when we meet in person.  

We are able to help with
  • completing forms such as welfare benefit claim forms, Blue Badge etc. ​
  • help with Emergency planning, including the Carers Emergency Cards 
  • Carer Support Planning
  • providing a point of contact for carers experiencing difficulty during isolation with information and help with problem solving
  • advocacy for carers 
  • befriending calls for carers
  • online Male Carers Group
  • Coordinating supply of PPE to entitled carers
In addition
  •  we are currently experimenting with Zoom/Team and Messenger to do live video support/chat groups for carers . 
  • we are exploring ways of information sharing/training with carers and workers. 
  • We are working with other organisations to try to find ways to address issues as they arise.
We will provide more services as the lockdown advice changes
